Dr Victoria Howe is the Medical Director of DermaGP and VH Clinics. She is an Irish Medical Council Registered Doctor with over 20 years of clinical experience and postgraduate training in Dermatology. She provides personalised online consultations for patients with a wide range of skin conditions across Ireland.

Following her medical degree, Dr Howe trained in General and Digestive Surgery at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (NHS) and Hospital Universitari Joan XXIII in Spain. She subsequently worked for several years in both the NHS and the Catalan Health Service (ICS), gaining extensive experience in hospital and community medicine.

Driven by a particular interest in skin disease, Dr Howe completed both the Professional Diploma in Dermatology and the Postgraduate Diploma in Dermatology through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI). She has also completed further professional education in General Medicine and Telemedicine through Harvard Medical School and the CME American University.

Throughout her career, Dr Howe has developed particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of common skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, skin infections, sexually transmitted infections with skin manifestations, and the cutaneous effects of GLP-1 medications. Her background in surgery and general medicine also gives her a broader understanding of systemic diseases that affect the skin.

Dr Howe has an international clinical background, having undertaken fellowships and advanced training in the United Kingdom and France, including the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and CHRU Hôpital Saint-Éloi, Montpellier.

Her approach to medicine is centred on providing evidence-based, personalised care. Every consultation is tailored to the individual patient, with clear explanations, practical treatment plans, and ongoing support when needed. Paul Doherty - General Manager

Paul Doherty is the General Manager of DermaGP. responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service and the delivery of a safe, efficient, and patient-focused platform.

He works closely with the clinical team to ensure that DermaGP operates to high professional standards, with a strong focus on governance, data protection, and service quality. Paul oversees operational processes, technology, and patient pathways, supporting the delivery of accessible, doctor-led online care across Ireland.
