Dr. Howe is the Medical Director of DermaGP and VH clinics. She is a General Doctor and Surgeon, specialised in dermatological conditions. Following her completion of her medical degree, Dr. Howe underwent surgical training as a General and Digestive Surgeon (Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh, NHS & Hospital Joan XXIII, MIR, Spain). She continued working in the public sector both in the NHS and the ICS for the following years as a consultant. Dr. Howe then furthered her studies in Dermatology, completing her Posgraduate in Dermatology and Professional Diploma at the Royal college of physicians in Ireland. 

Dr Howe is also certified in general medicine/telemedicine by the CME American University and Harvard University.

Dr Howe has since gained an extensive clinical experience in different medical conditions, including dermatitis, acne, rosacea, eczema, STIs, GLP-1 skin effects, digestive disorders with cutaneous affectation,… among others. She has a solid international background, including several fellowships in the UK (Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh) and France (CHRU Hôpital Saint Eloi, Montpellier).

Dr Howe has focused her career on a personalised, caring and human approach at her medical practice, both physically and online.

Paul Doherty - General Manager

Paul Doherty is the General Manager of DermaGP. responsible for the day-to-day operations of the service and the delivery of a safe, efficient, and patient-focused platform.

He works closely with the clinical team to ensure that DermaGP operates to high professional standards, with a strong focus on governance, data protection, and service quality. Paul oversees operational processes, technology, and patient pathways, supporting the delivery of accessible, doctor-led online care across Ireland.
